Premier Soccer League results 28 October
Three Fixtures took place on Sunday 28 October in the Absa Premier Soccer League on 28 October. The results from the three games are quite underwhelming, with two draws and a 1-0 win for Bloem Celtic at the Dr Molemela Stadium.
Week 11 of the PSL 2018 served up a mix of results. The Soweto Derby between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates was the obvious game of the week and that match did not dissappoint.
The action was back and forth from the first whistle. The first half was the best part of the game, with a goaless second half.
Orlando Pirates moved into second with the three points and will be the more confident side as we approach the half way mark of the season.
Results from Sunday 28 October PSL 2018 below.
Black Leopards vs Free State Stars
Black Leopards hosted Free State Stars on Sunday afternoon. The teams managed a goal a piece as they played out a 1 – 1 draw at the Thohoyandou Stadium. Stars moved into 7th spot with the single point gained from the draw.
SuperSport United vs Golden Arrows
No doubt Supersport will feel like they missed their opportunity to pick up a full three points when Arrows came back after half time to level the scores.
The game ended 1 – 1 and SuperSport find themselves in fifth spot with a game in hand.
Bloem Celtic vs Baroka FC
Bloem Celtic were the only winners on Sunday. The three points they managed to pick up with the 1 – 0 win pushed them into third spot. With all the up’s and down’s Celtic have experienced off the field the move into third spot should be a huge lift for all involved at the club.
