A mixed bag of results this weekend for all your favourite PSL Teams. PSL Diski news wraps this weekends round of fixtures. There was some movement at the top of the table with Pirates going into first spot after their 0 – 0 draw away to Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.
Saturday 10 November
Golden Arrows vs Baroka FC
Arrows took the lead in the 11th minute of this bottom half of the PSL table clash. they held the lead until the 34th minute when Dickens equalised for Baroka. Baroka took the lead just after the half time break and that was how it finished.
2 – 1 to Baroka FC.
Arrows host Kaizer Chiefs at the Princess Magogo Stadium on Saturday 1 December
Mamelodi Sundowns vs Orlando Pirates
0 – 0 It Finished at Loftus Versfeld when two PSL giants clashed on Saturday!
A game you would rather have missed due to its lack of action sees Pirates sitting in top spot on the PSL table.
Kaizer Chiefs vs Chippa United
The 0 – 0 draw will only further compound Chiefs’ issues this season. Currently in 5th place on the log after 13 games Chiefs will no doubt be playing for a top 4 finish as opposed to winning the league.
Amakosi once again failed to find the net in a game they should have won and won well.
Chippa will take confidence from the away draw and Coach Tinkler could have the chilli boys in the top half early in December.
Free State Stars vs SuperSport United
A single goal from Keene was all SupersSport United needed to take all 3 points. 1 – 0 to SuperSport united over Free State Stars
Bidvest Wits vs Bloem Celtic
A huge away win for cash strapped Bloem Celtic over table topping Wits.
Bidvest Wits have dropped into 2nd spot, however still have 2 games in hand over top of the table Pirates, but are now on the same points as 3rd place Bloem Celtic.
Sunday 11 November
Amazulu FC vs Polokwane City
Amazulu FC met Polokwane City at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The teams played out to a 0 – 0 draw.
Cape Town City FC vs Black Leopards
A resounding 3 – 1 home win for Cape Town City FC over Black Leopards. City with 3 games in hand are now in the top half of the log and will aim to reach similar heights to last season.
Leopards are in action against Sundowns on Wednesday 28 November
